Regal Cinemas Will Soon Reopen

On March 23rd, a CNBC article revealed that Regal Cinemas will be opening about 500 locations beginning April 2nd. However, most theaters will only be permitted to reach 25% to 50% capacity, depending on local guidelines.

The theater chain, owned by Cineworld, locked a deal with Warner Bros. to show all of their 2021 films. The films will simultaneously be available on popular streaming platform HBO Max.

Behind AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas is the second largest theater chain in the United States.
